As I understand it the car will end up well cared for in Texas.... Glad to hear it will be pampered some more, she truly is a beauty and a mechanical work of art.

Yes Jim Heaton outside Houston TX has purchased her. The carrier is due to come pick her up this coming week.

I am sure Sergio will be able to help Jim take care of her in the future. She will need a good detailing after the trip and Jim is already planning for that. I went ahead and replaced the bad parking brake cable and got a new windshield installed since the molding is an encapsulated part of the windshield.

In time I am sure I will have a garage sale thread for all the spare pieces/parts that I have laying around :)

Thanks again everyone.

:thankyou:

John: Are you still going to be around? and what is the next toy project?

If you are moving on and out of the SHO community, thanks for all you have done over the years. I hope our paths cross again that's for sure.

I will still be around. I may even bring the next project to this years convention if I get it freshened up in time - but it may be sporting the stock drive train for now. The chance of running at VIR is just too temping to pass up :)

Like with most former SHO owners, the cars may have brought us all together, but its the friendships we that we have made that last a life time.

I wouldn't technically call that a production car with all the custom engine work. You could find plenty of reworked motor production cars with those numbers. That being said, my favorite n/a SHO ever.

Welcome to the forum, kid. Here's your homework...

Find a production car from 1995 that does 14.2.

The real stat is the 102 MPH trap speed with a not so stellar 2.20 sec 60ft time. Not much traction off the line with all the torque even with the Quaife and fairly sticky 245 street tires, but plenty of power to run down other cars at the end of the track :)

I will sure miss her.
