You're still stock right? Shouldn't have too much spin on the 20" summer tire. EBB is running a shorter diameter tire and I believe it's an all season. I know Livernois car has the all season Primacy on there car and it will spin but my 20" f1's might chirp but that's about it. Make sure you turn the TC off completely.

Good luck! Look forward to seeing your times!
Thx Darreli, my tires are 20'' Michelin all-season (not summer actually). I will turn everything off (air, navi, radio, roof, windows, TC off and cell phone!)
I wish to do better than 13.7 and 103 like car n Driver magazine annouce. I still believe I got a special stock car with a magic fast touch... lol we'll see...

BTW it is still not sure I am going tonight. Since I have two young daughters, my wife made me the big eyes since I would leave her alone on a Friday night with the bath, the dinner, the stories, etc. But I put the chances on my side by paying her a massage this afternoon and a restaurant after... Hopefully that will do! Cheers

My 18" tires are Conti DW's - Summer tires, but with a 300+ wear rating, so do spin just a bit. If I power brake at too high a RPM level, I can get HOP... "SCARY". My tires are 255-45 WR 18. 2" shorter than stock 20's. Axle ratio goes up to 3.40. Also weigh 15 lbs less EACH....

Time Slips Note: Run 6 & 8!

IMG 3235

Same thing - moved closer together.

IMG 3236

Bradenton likes to rip their slips in half! You get the right or left depending on which lane you use. CHEAP! Would have liked to have shown the Mustang Conv I had at 330 FT who turned over 120 MPH at the end! And he had slicks!

At least this time I was # 17... Last time up there I was #13....

This was sent to me by Torrie McPhail. It is all Roe Racing parts, like they sell for Vipers.
NO boost controller & no special tank. I am the "test mule"! Roe Racing is out of Jacksonville & within 50 mi of Torrie. Torrie tunes many Vipers, which is Roe's specialty.

Nothing particularly secretive about what we are doing, except for Torrie's tunes, which are as big a secret to me as to anyone! Will acknowledge --- THEY WORK!

Torrie sent me the system which is based on Roe Racing Kits. Torrie lives close to their shop which is in Jacksonville. He also tunes may built Vipers, which is Roe's specialty. I am Not using a boost controller or separate W/M tank. Guess you could call me Torrie's "Test Mule"! or "EcoBrick Lemming"!

Nothing particularly secretive about what we are doing, except Torrie's actual tunes.
All of you know as much as I do about them. Torrie is a man of few words.....

Most of what I have posted about W/M comes from what I have gleaned from my many internet searches on this subject.

Will say... "THEY WORK"!

I had a helper. Tim from Twin Cities is in Sarasota on business. He has an un-modded "Brick" identical to mine except for color. Also has a heavily modded WRX and used to own a Toyota Supra that ran in the 10's., so critiqued my runs, staging and power braking efforts. We missed a 10 minute tail wind by about a minute in staging lanes.
Temp dropped to 77 at 8:pM but then never got below 76, going up and dn a degree or so, all the way to 10:30 closing. Also, every one of the runs under 13.2 had 60 ft times under 2. Best was 1.903.

Oh well.... can always start a career as a bracket racer... unbelievable consistency in runs.......

You seem to have the knack for consistency for sure. Takes a cool nerve waiting for the lights.
You'll get to the 12's for sure. I just wish we were closer so we could watch.
Been a few years since being down in that area. (Bradenton, Ft Meyers, Bonita Beach, Naples.) -- you can bet what we're bringin' and where we're going when we return. :)

Keep hammerin' at it -- and if you're anything like me, losing a few pounds off the middle will help too. ;)

Have heard a few of Darrell's puzzle pieces... Just enough to be envious!

Enough to know he is going for the "ATWFS Title"!**

** ALL TIME WORLD"S FASTEST SHO....

I'm sure there are a few Gen 1-2 etc SHO owners who will have plenty to say about this......
