I think you can just get the M10x1.5 bolts from the Help! section at the parts house. I think that's what Chris (nep8ntballer) told me. I bought the bolts and took my Y to the exhaust shop to have it re-installed because I broke the studs when I removed the pipe to do the bearings.

I ordered studs for my exploder from rockauto , they sent me the wrong ones. Its pretty rare they are wrong but make sure you order the right size.

These are Ford, I believe.
Exhaust stud P/N N811284-S101
Exhaust stud nut N620482-S2

I have this for a different lock nut, not sure if it is Ford or not.
V6 Exhaust Stud Nuts (4) N800-152-S2, I think it is.

Cool cool... all good info... I antizeized the crap outta everything and I think I had too much on the nut side, cause it wiggled itself off. Causing a lean code on the front 02 screwin up my timing and mileage... all over a nut. :)

I bet your starting to stack up a pretty nice list there Boat.. :) I shoulda started doing that years ago... :(

ones that work fine but are easier to find are for a early 2000s E150 van. some of the local auto parts places actually stock those.

If you don't mind doing a bit more work, you can fit 12mm studs in instead of 10mm. Just need to drill out and retap the manifold (easy, if you can get the old stud out). The 12mm studs are a ton beefier and less likely to snap next time you do the Y-pipe.

I think we used M12x65mm. Maybe 70mm or 75mm, but definitely M12.

I'm currently doing a clutch and broke all four....yay. When I took the flywheel to carquest for resurfacing, I found that they have 10mm exhaust studs. They're labled GM.

I'll get a picture.

Edit: battery drained. shutting down handheld. Part number:

Help 03101

Edit edit...this crosses to Dorman 03101 at rock auto.

DORMAN Part # 03101 Size: M10-1.5 x 77mm

to provide a public answer to a pm I got today - the parts I have used in the past are

Dorman 03131 - M10-1.5 and are about 3" overall length.

I got them at Advance Auto but I'm sure any auto parts store can get them.

If you never want trouble with them again, SHONUT sells an all stainless stud kit. These have been on my car for almost 10 years and I need nothing more than a 3/8" ratchet to remove them with ease.

Did the same thing years ago. Taken the Y-pipe off several times with no problems. A great kit.

I installed the Dorman (Help!) exhaust manifold to y-pipe studs yesterday and they fit perfect. They have the ledge between the two sets of threads. That made seating them in the exhaust manifold very easy.
