is welding the dif pin like welding your spider gears on a RWD vehicle, causing both wheels to turn all the time or is it still an open dif just reinforced

It's still an open diff... just makes it so it's not an open hand grenade with the pin pulled and an unknown fuse length.

What does this do? Explain? Look good though and def strong. You came up with this just when I get my transmission taken apart, welded the old way, put back together and installed, lol.

Well, everyone told me that the pins twist, so I took a diff apart and found that cube inside. I then welded the pins to the cube, and welded the short pins to the long pin. Theres no possible way it can come out. On top of that, we put our aluminum ring around it.
