Can't say it enough, Livernois rocks, the tune totally delivered.

It was great weather and great air here in FL tonight... Here's how it panned out.

So the only 2 mods are Livernois Tune/Heartthrob Axle back. Stock everything else (tires too, NO DR's) with 550 miles on it.

First run was a very soft 2k launch and spun very badly in 2nd, and it was my first track pass in 6 years and first stick car in the same amount of time so it went:

12.46 @ 114mph. 1.96 60' I was very very happy. Good ET and Good MPH.

Ran again, soft launch, hit 2nd car starts to step out again, worse this time so I peddle it ended with a 12.5 @ 114mph, still super happy and consistent.

I thought that was all she had considering I'm still on the stock Pirelli's so I was scared to launch any harder. But since I had 2 good passes in I figured I could leave a bit harder, so what the ****, this time about 3500, a touch of spin, hooked up in 2nd pretty well net result:

12.27 @ 115mph with a 1.86 60' which I was very happy with. Next pass I missed 3rd but still ended with a 12.5 and I was ****** that I missed cause I had a good 60' and a solid run going.

Last pass of the night 4k launch, stuck like glue 1st and 2nd finally and finished with:

12.10 @ 114mph with a 1.75 60' on stock tires, at that point I was really jazzed. So far it's exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to put a Cold Air on it and retune, maybe I can squeeze an 11 on street tires, be damn fun on a Drag Radial...

So here's the time slip:

Thanks for the kind words Bill!

Great driving! Those times are almost identical to what I said it should run. Wait until you do a CAI and drag radials. It'll be in the 11's with ease.

Awesome numbers Phantom with the mods you have done. Looks like Ford left some room for improvements for us. :dribble:

He has only our custom tune and an axle-back. In all honesty the axle-back is good for sound, but little to no power. Tuning wakes these cars up a ton.

To get a 60' like that on stock tires with a manual trans, I must say you are a very good driver!

I was watching the you tube vid from Heartthrob CEO and there claim was that they made 12hp more with there axleback, not a lot but could be some truth. If that other car went 12.2, the extra from the AB may have helped. Heck if nothing else it dropped about 40lbs off the rear of the car :dribble:

Thanks for the driver mod comments, they are nice to hear. It was fun I pulled 2 1.7's and 2 1.8's with the Pirelli's. I experimented with tire pressures and found 25psi and bake the living crap out of them until they stick like glue (about a 10 sec or so burnout).

I've been a best 60' of 1.52 in our car, but it has suspension and drag radials.
