Plannig on moving 3.0 conn rods and crank over to 3.2 Talk to a guy at napa today they have rod bearings for 3.0.In stock.just wanted to make sure it will all go together.Funny napa didt show any 3.2 bearings in list.Any feed bac will nice.:munch:

3.2 and 3.0 bearings are the same (which is why 3.2 rods/crank are interchangable with 3.0 rods/crank) IIRC which is why they probably didnt show them in stock. :wave:

dont the 3.2 and 3.0 have different wrist pin diamater ?? so you can use the 3.0 rods on 3.2 pistons??

The 3.0 and the 3.2 cranks are the same. The rods are not. You would need to get the rod machined to accept the 3.2 piston. To be honest, unless you are wanting to do a rebuild, I would just purchase a used 3.2, put in new rod bearings/seals and and call it good. Probably less headache and money than all the parts swapping and machining/balancing. Just my 2 cents.

I was unaware of the wrist pin diameters... I though the only difference was in the piston diameter.

That is why i was asking the same q again to make sure.You said nothing about the wrist pin. Mr frosho, See it dont hurt to ask the same q twice.So 100% there a difference in roll pins

3.0 wrist pin = 21.005-21.017mm
3.2 wrist pin = 22.005-22.017mm
