Okay, I'll be honest here. It is hard for some of the new guys to want to show up, but we are not like other car clubs. Actually Brian (shotime2511) and I were at a local car club BBQ last weekend and only 1 person talked to me. I knew a few of them, but no one was social except for their core group.
The FSHOC is not like that. I personally go out of my way to make new guys feel welcome, as does the core group of this club. Any new members need not worry about being left out or just sitting around. This goes for any meet we have. I have been doing this for years now with the same people on here and we all feel the same way and want new people to join in on the action. Come on out, young or old...we all share a common love, and lets have some fun.
The event earlier this year was great. Hopefully Chris and I can get 20 spots filled this time and bring more people into the annual track day. I know there are a few gen 4 guys that lurk on here. Don't be a stranger and make plans to attend next springs event. Same with all the other FL and GA passer-bys.

Good point, that BMS meet kinda sucked but I had a feeling it would be like that. I wouldn't have even showed if you we not coming.
FSHOC meets have never been like that and as long as our core group is around it never will be.
Newcomers, feel free to bring friends, wives, husbands or whatever.

Lets do it! Lets make sure we can get the 9th unless you did that already before we put it on some of the local forums.

Been awhile since I been on the board but I'm 110% game. Count me in. I wouldn't miss it...

This is truth. I am always weary of meeting other car guys at a meet. From my experience, it almost normally turns into "who's car's the nicest, my car is faster than your car, blah, blah blah."

Not with this group!!! Everyone is down to earth, personable and just out to have a good time.

Not once did I feel like I was an outsider. Everyone introduced themselves and made chit chat with each other.

All you new guys out there, don't be afraid. If you go, it's a guaranteed good time. You won't meet a better group of car nuts than the guys and gals on this forum.

We gonna do the Sub-Frame welding again? If so, throw me in a set.
