A while back I made a post about what subframe bushings to use in my Showagon. Heres what I came up with, stock gen1 (89-91) SHOs use all 4 of the DORMAN Part # 924000 bushings. 92-95 use DORMAN Part # 924000 for the front, and DORMAN Part # 924011 (hockey puck looking) for the rear.
I went ahead and put all four of the 924000. Cars drove fine, but within the last few week before the transmission died, notice a popping once in a while when turning. All other suspension has been changed. I think its the DORMAN Part # 924000 bushings being in the rear. I want to put the DORMAN Part # 924011 hockey puck looking ones. Only thing, there obsolete and I can not find them anywhere. Not even rockauto, says they dont exist.
Now I saw some people suggest I use Gen3 bushings. They will fit? The gen3 uses DORMAN Part # 924000 up front and DORMAN Part # 924012 (another hockey puck looking one) in the rears. So use all DORMAN Part # 924012 on all 4? Or maybe DORMAN Part # 924000 up front and DORMAN Part # 924012 in rear? I just want to make sure anybody knows they will fit. I can find them brand new on rockauto for 15 bucks. I want to change the bushings on my other cars to.
