I just can't say it enough, I've overly impressed with your cars performance. My wife has a 2010 Jaguar XF-R with a factory rated 510 HP @ the crank, it dyno'd 455 RWHP. Not sure what it runs in the 1/4 but sounds like your car would give hers a run for the money! Well, maybe not run for the money, in that case, yours is faster........the Jag is twice the price of the SHO!

Very cool though! Keep the info coming! I'm having a tough time getting final pricing on the SHO that I want!

How much slower is the EcoBoost Flex than the SHO??? The Flex are really cool looking!

With a stage 3 tune, custom CAI(my design) & smaller-lighter tires, my "Brick" turned a 13.521 at just under 102 mph on a warm humid night. T.A. has now beaten my time by almost a tenth of a second. Think it is good for low 13's on a perfect day.

That's quite impressive! That would surprise some guys in older stock Mustang GT's or Subaru Sti's. HAHA!

I'm getting a tune for my SHO if I can ever get the dealership to give me a price. They want to come down there and stand around for hours, I don't wanna go down there til a price is agreed on. I've already sent them the exact car I want and it's on their lot!

By doing the Program on the SHO or Flex, did that void all drivetrain warranty? I would buy a program for it within the 1st week of ownership.

So, as I have posted I've been testing a new tune with a little more boost than my previous Stage 3 tune and have also had I tune with a little more boost than that and a little more timing.

So the weather was great today, high 40's but with a 15-20 mph cross wind.
On the tune that I have been driving daily I ran back to back....

1.843 60ft
5.290 330ft
8.198 1/8 ET
84.76 1/8 MPH
10.71 1000 ft ET
97.77 1000 ft MPH
12.81 1/4 ET
109.71 1/4 MPH

I also ran a 12.86 at 109.77....I have the MPH to beat Beefcake!

So I loaded in the other tune and let the car cool down for about an hour.

Pulled up to the lights...left at at 1500 rpm like I had the previous runs and
spun the tires so hard that the car must have triggered some sensor and I basically lost power to the vehicle for a second and killed my run obviously.
Damn! I can tell you the car has not left that hard for me yet..spinning and all I ran an 1.8606 60ft! I'm sure if it would have continued I would have had the .06 I needed to beat the record!!

Well theres one more weekend left...I'll leave at a lower rpm and see what happens!

Want to thank the guys at Livernois, especially Rick and Dan for making the car capable of beating this record this year. Now if the driver could do his part...a new record should be had next weekend!

Thanks to everyone on here as well for providing the motivation!

Great Runs Darrell. Just an aside, Beefcakes run was also done on aftermarket wheels that I believe were a lot lighter then the stockers, that could also account for the little extra he got, you go pulling 10-15lbs off each corner and that will wake things up as well... Just a thought... Keep kickin ass man your a big reason I jumped and bought the tune for my SHO and damn if I don't freakin love it!

Beefcake claimed his wheels were 22"s that were heavier than stock as I remember.

My 18"s are 60 lbs lighter overall. Also the 2" shorter diameter increases axle ratio to around 3.40. On my only trip to the strip, all 4 of my runs recorded a 60 ft time of under 2! Because of weight and frontal area, the Flex's 1/4 mi speeds are somewhat slower.

With H & R spring lowering kit and X/L max performance Conti DW's. my ride is a bit pitchy at times, but in no way harsh. TireRack was worried that the ride would really suffer with these X/L rated tires, even before the spring kit. Very happy overall with setup and would recommend.

It depends on your problem. Anything related to the engine or transmission will probably be voided if you are using a tune.

Didnt Beefcake add a 50 shot of NOS? I seem to remember reading that. Quite impressive that Darelli has been able to achieve the things he has done without spray.

OK thanks! So maybe I should wait til I get a few thousand miles on it before doing a tune. Most problems from defective parts would happen in the 1st 5000 miles.

I wouldn't think a 50 Shot on such a heavy car would make that big a difference! But......
