:salute:I need a nice supercharger kit for my bone stock 94 atx. I want to pull 100hp out of it and it can't be too expensive. Any ideas?

sorry there are no more kits to buy from the vender's. If you post in the want to buy section, you might be able to pick up a old shoshop kit. Do your maintenance first. Plus there is no cheap FI for the sho.

I highly suggest you do a search.

Supercharging a SHO =/= "can't be too expensive", especially since the car is stock.

You'd probably be better off with a Zex N2O dry kit with a 75-100 shot.

Do you mean SHO Shop? I don't recall SHO Source ever having a supercharger setup.

We still have our original ATX Supercharger kits as well as a rear mounted turbo kit available for the SHO. We also have ATX Transmissions available that will handle the torque you want to make.

Just give us a call. You'll find out everything you need to know.

We will have our turbo kit soon. Working on some final fittings and redesign...

You will need to buy some upgrades so you can even get near ready for a S/C or Turbo. You will be looking at least at a couple thousand or more.

A proper turbo or supercharger setup and supporting mods can cost you over $5000 in parts alone. The labor will vary depending on which setup you go with, but it can be extensive. IOW, way way way too much money/time if you are only wanting 100hp over stock. .

the overall price may differ. I have the FPR kit, 255 pump, 48lb injectors, vortech v1 t-trim, charge piping, and FMIC for less than $1500. You just have to take your time and piece it together over time if your on a budget

And a small generator in the trunk to run it.

Every now and then Magnuson sells their roots superchargers on eBay for cheap. With a custom CNC bracket I could see mounting it ware the AC condenser is and running a small air to air after cooler. I think the MP90 would be the largest I’d put on it. Combine that with a short performance nose piece would have a nice boost in performance. Magnuson superchargers have a built in BOV so you can keep it buried in the engine bay, where it’s harder to notice. The other is to fab up a setup like the old SHO Shop SC kit and remote the bat to the trunk. But a supercharger means more than just pushing air into the engine, you’ll need tuning, injectors, fuel delivery, compression ratio, and spark plugs. Every now and then you see an old kit pop up in the ads here but they go for a good chunk of change, as said before in the end it’s going to be around 5-7k no matter the route you go.

Sorry, they have a bypass valve, still thinking about my friends EVO...
