Ask a simple ? Someone always try to be a funny ********.But thanks for your input.
I think they're messing with you because you said you searched, but did not find anything. I KNOW the information is there. There is a thread DEDICATED to boosting a SHO. Keep reading and THEN ask SPECIFIC questions.

sorry i thought you were another guy who got his daddys sho and wants to make it go fast so you put up a post like this whithout having any prior knowlage of engines, forced induction, and probably dosent know how to change a spark plug. but i am sorry if i jumped to conclusions....to put in my 2 cents i would say your looking at a good chunk of money and more than a welded diff to reach this goal. look into a lsd diff (wavetrack, quaife) open diffs will not let you use this kinda power around any turn without one wheel spin. and forced induction will be the only method to get to a 450 hp goal...my best advice is to read this link.http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=81944

if you have anymore questions feel free to post them up if they are reasonable.

sorry for jumping to conclusions.

Do your homework and your searches. Lets kick it back to IDK, 15yrs ago. The internet is an information highway. I've only been an SHO owner for 12 days now, and I've learned a ton. What works, and doesn't work. I've even seen some people who have converted a Gen 2 SHO to RWD. The question is how much money are you planning on spending here? Do you want a reliable 450HP? You'll probably be looking at a completely custom powertrain custom made to hold that kind of power, to be reliable. Don't jump head first into anything....take the time to learn about these cars. Also, check some of the members on this forum, a lot of these guys have been there.....done that. I've got a few reliable sources on here myself. LOL, if this was a Mustang, I could go on and on... I'm still learning about the SHO myself, so like someone else stated...the info is out there, you just have to find it. 450HP seems to be pushing the limits of the SHO motor and trans, but I'm a firm believer that anything is possible.

I made 430hp at the wheels on a stock 3.0 with no bolt ons other than an S trim. Blew the tranny after 12k miles. Going to put a new another one before too long.

Back to chomping on crotch rockets!

430. possible with just a supercharger
431 or more, impossible based on mans current grasp of physics.

might be possible by the time we have antigravity devices and free energy though, so just hang in there for a bit ...

I also have a flux capacitor. :angelnot:

but yes stock 3.0L with S trim oh and a 75 shot. Sorry forgot about that little bit of knowledge. Pulled dyno sheet and was wrong also. Was 4 years ago.

Gots 3.2L with all the goodies now. Just need a trans to hold. Small itty pulley been sitting in my desk for years now. sigh.

To the trannie gods .

that is true....however that doesn't mean you can't have fun with some boost. I drove 12k hard miles on mine.

When you boost a car shit breaks. It just happens....don't make it your daily driver. I've raced countless times, did the Texas Mile, drag raced and love boost on my car.

Of course the old saying its never fast enough. More hp/tq =more breakage.

These motors love boost. There is nothing like spanking someone like a vette owner who thinks because they put down a chunk of money they are the fastest thing on the road. I have years of **** giving now for my brother in law who didn't think my full interiored family sedan could beat his crotch rocket. He was wrong and he sweated all the way home while I turned on the a/c and radio.

Have fun....just don't make it your daily.
