you can upgrade the trans and the clutch without doing a ton of supporting work but it would be best to add boost and fuel upgrades at the same time since you'll have to have most of the motor apart anyway.

well im planning on doing the diff next month ( since we all know how wonderfull a stock diff is) and im trying to weigh the pros and cons of a turbo or a super. i like the fact that this remote kit is so well hidden and when you do see it its a work of art

I like the stealth aspect of this. Any dyno's yet? Salivating for some numbers. Can't recall what the first remote SHO put down, but it certainly felt healthy. I can not tell from the pic, but are you still recording IAT's? Just wondering where they are running. Any concern with heat transfer from your hot pipes to your charge pipes?

I'm shooting for a little over 300hp to the tires. It's still a stock engine and my customer doesn't want to build an engine for it just yet.

There is no issue with heat transfer to the charge pipes. That's part of the expense of the kit. I coated all the pipes with a ceramic coating to eliminate heat transfer. The charge piping is aluminum tubing and it's down in the slip stream under the car. This in turn acts like an intercooler.

The exhaust coatings really work. You can put your hand (or other body part) close to the pipe and not feel the heat. But touch it, and you're burnt. Got a nice scab on my forearm from a close encounter.

Did a little more touch-up work today. Painted the MAF and got the plumbing lined up a little better.

I should call this the Serta SHO.

I drove it today too. Pulls like ****, b ut it's gonna take a minute or two to seat this sintered iron clutch.

So, you get it? Serta SHO?

Duh, so it's like a mattress or somethin'?????? ;)

Yeah, especially a "Rare Green" SHO.

Personally, the term "sleeper" died a few years back when minivans running juice turn in the 12s.

To Me, there are no more sleepers. With my LGT AWD launch capabilities, I can **** 12-second RWD cars in the first 1/8-mile, or up to 80 or so on the street.

"We Make The World's Best" Sleeper? :)

Also, Ron, keep in mind that this is a "Rare Green" '91 Plus, so there were only 898 made. A little less ironic in the "rare" part than normal. I do understand your point though. Just sayin'.

This may very well be the only boosted green 91+ ever!
I would love to line up next to it!

What intake temps are you seeing?

I'm not exactly sure yet. The IAT is now built into the MAF so the IAT tables are looking at actual charge air temps. I can't log actual temps, so I'll have to get the voltage and convert to temp.

I can say that the long plumbing from the compressor to the throttle works like a charm. I was working on the waste gate of the white car and touched the aluminum piping right by the turbo and it was hotter than ****. I thought about it for a second and then went up front. I grabbed the pipe and I could hold my hand on the pipe with no issues.

I guess I'll find out more on the dyno.

I still didn't understand how are you running stock Fuel Pressure Regulator. I did get the part where you've installed huge fuel injectors.

im sorry if i missed this but my question is do you have to put out more boost at the turbo to get a good amount at the engine with this type of setup? or does the amount of boost stay the same from all the way back thier?
