My Cruise Control is broken, and my A\C is non existent.....This means lots of cold red bull or lots of cold beer on the way. OR! we could do a little vehicle swap when you guys meet me at Blandford ? Kirk? you know this would be a great oppurtunity for you (Kirk) to do a little test and review of the work you did on my car (which is great by the way), In the mean time I will certainly test out your A\C and CC and make sure everything is ok in your car. No need to thank me, you can just buy me a beer or something when we get there.

Thanks :thumb:

Meh, I wouldn't worry about it. As long as your plate is associated with your transponder, you'll be fine.

Agreed. Anyway, there's only the tolls in NY you need to worry about since there is no transponder system in OH...

You think so? I dunno, the prospect of getting hit with a $50 fine at every toll booth is pretty unnerving...

PS I did end up grabbing a pair of FRS walkie talkies at Wally World. I'll bring both.

Oh well. Sorry, Matt.

And it would be nice for Illinois to tell you that their system ties in with the others. Heading out to Tony's BBQ, I see the toll signs and pull up into the cash lane digging for change and the toll-taker is looking at me like I have 3 heads.

It does on there website, can't remember what any of the signs say, but I also don't remember if any of the EZ pass or Fastlane signs out there last year had anything about I-pass on them, but then I already knew it worked so prob didn't really pay attention. Do they?

For whoever is not sure about anything, Just check out the site of whatever one you have, Each systems website will show if there system works with the others or not. They all have maps of where they work and also link to the other states sites if you want to check the rates, how many tolls, etc..

SHOclass, I have a brand new AC clutch assembly, and some R12 if you need it.

I recently found out the reason that my cruise did not work was because the cable had popped off the lever on the T body . . . .

I'll be paying cash for tolls. Never wanted a transponder of that type . . . .
General practice in that case is a mile or two before the tolls the people without transponders go ahead of the group so that by the time we're through the EZ-Pass lanes you're just about getting through the cash lane.

You think so? I dunno, the prospect of getting hit with a $50 fine at every toll booth is pretty unnerving...

99% positive. They tell you that out-of-state BS out of an abundance of caution, but when I got the new transponder for the truck back in Dec. they told me the same thing, but I used it in NH the same day and it was fine.

I'm almost positive It needs a new compressor. And I think my VSS is shot too, Where is said cable located on the throttle body? I have never checked.
I don't even want to touch my A/C buttons because the blend door actuator? is broken and will just keep making a clicking noise inside the dash at all times.
Thank you for the offer if it turns out that's all I need for my A/C to work I will definitely take you up on that.

FRS radios are plenty..

As far as the tolls go, when we get to one I will tell you that one is coming up and you should blast ahead to get through it... Its hard enough to keep a caravan together, please keep the radios on and listen to them.
