Just FYI, my guess is that those are Motoform "Circ" wheels from the early/mid 90s that have been painted black ... originally they came argent silver. I remember selling some of them when I worked at a speed shop for a while around that time. A guy I know here in the Toronto area has a set on his 96 T-Bird, they fit nice on that ... IIRC the offset is around +35 or so, which would explain the tight fit on a Taurus.

Here is an example I found on a Google search:

Thats the only one I actually took. I wish the reflection of my car was clearer. It is one of my favorite SHO pictures.

IIRC they were silver when kikkinasphalt got them. I think I saw them on a Gen II, I got linked to cardomain or something like it. Didnt have any decent pics of them so I wasnt positive.

I like the wheels it just makes more sense for me to go a different route now.

I never remember anything being said about a spacer. Especially since they alread sit out.

You know with 17" you can fit 13"s.... Just sayin.... Also might be able to work you a deal on those with James.

For those interested, I'll shed some light as well.

I bought these from Curt (kissinjamesassphalt) late last year. IIRC around October or so. I had them on the car for about a month, then took them off for winter, and they've been stored inside Kirk's shop since.

I like them, they fit with no spacers, though as mentioned Gen 2's are going to want to roll the rear fenders.

I live in SW Rhode Island, and am frequently at Kirk's shop in Spencer, MA. If I can aid in delivery, or meeting someone with them, I'm willing to as long as: 1) It's not too far out of my way and B) You bring sammiches. Or hookers and blow.
