I've decided to sell my 1991 Ford Taurus SHO with just 86,500 miles. It was a tough decision to make because it has always been my dream to own a '91 SHO Plus. I bought this amazing example from another SHOForum member back in January and have enjoyed owning it while racking up just a couple thousand miles myself. Why sell it then? Because I need a daily driver-type car and that's just not how I treat the SHO (and my wife doesn't want three cars around). I would sincerely like to see it sold again to someone else in the SHOForum community who will treat it right.
As you can see from the pictures (and gallery), this '91 SHO Plus is in remarkable condition for a 19-year-old vehicle. The body has absolutely NO RUST. There are some minor blemishes, but nothing out of the ordinary for a vehicle this age. Likewise, the condition of the interior is excellent. Most importantly, this car is in top notch condition mechanically and received over $3,000 in maintenance – including its 60,000-mile service – within the last three years (see receipt). I have only repaired one item while owning the car, which was a bad ignition that kept draining the battery. So you get a brand new battery too!
Not only is the car great, but I'm also passing along a LOT of extra parts that will make sure she keeps running and looking beautiful.
