Only have time/money/space to maintain one car, and I just got my 65 Dart on the road, so I’m looking for a new home for my SHO. She’s been a member of my family for 10years so I’d love to see her find a SHO lover to drive her or use her parts. She still drives really well with pep and the engine is a workhorse, but there is some significant rust in the rocker panels as well as some other moderate problems, so she could either be fixed for a daily driver or reincarnated as your parts car.
Location: White River Junction, VT/Hanover, NH
Asking price: $500
Condition: Running well, but needs some work. Still insured, so you can drive her home, but not currently up to date with Vermont inspection. Legal to drive outside of Vermont.
The good:
Engine still running well
Mostly highway mileage
Replaced in the last 1000miles:
Water pump
Crankshaft sensor
Valve cover gasket
Starter (NAPA lifetime Gold)
Throttle position sensor
Mass airflow sensor
Idle air bypass valve
Gas tank, fuel pump, fuel filter
Ignition coil pack/plugs/wires
The bad:
Front wheel bearings shot
Rear caliper/e-brake sticks on occasion…needs replacing
Dead AC/cruise
Rusting rocker panels
Not original rims
Engine light on intermittently…code for barometric pressure sensor
Exhaust leak up front
Needs new tires
