New lower hose at Napa, $20 Bucks, better than being stranded or dumping the coolant and damaging the engine.

agreed.

when i did my clutch at toms last month i called checker/orielly and autozone, both said they didn't stock the part anymore. didnt think to call napa.

i just being careful and closely monitoring the hose situation. not taking my car anywhere too far.

i think i gotta drain the coolant and check the thermostat as well, my car gets obnoxiously hot (needle going right up to the N and O on the guage) before it opens.

i'll just put off driving it till i get my samco hoses and a few other parts.

hopefully my taxes come by next friday when i get paid again, i'll be purchasing another vehicle and the SHO will finally reach weekender/toy status like it belongs, and i can make the nessesary arrangements to spank jessemachone's 5.0 in grudgematch night at the end of the summer.

That was the group buy price and since we have now gone into production we had to raise the price.

Anyone have a recommendation for clamps? I know Ideal has a line of some nice marine clamps - speacially designed for silicone hoses (so there are no 'teeth' to cut into the hose). Anyone have a source???
