I must say as witness to Tom's event, it was the best SHO race I have ever seen. It was close as it could get. I thought something happened to the buggy as all I saw was this big white boat running dead even with the rail most of the way down the track.

What was even more amazing was to see Tom's cult following lauding over Nik's amazingly fast gen 1 in the staging lanes after the race.....there were at least 8 giddy fans around nik's car....compared to tom's 3 semi-interested observers around the ass end of the buggy.

In Tom's corner though was the lane manager who came over to say "By golly this is the coolest vehicle I have ever seen come thru this track to race in all my years of working here"

If I had let him drive her, he would of had her deep in the 11's, no doubt.

Tom

That or deep in sh*t when the Mendeola let go:eek:

While that buggy is probably capable of mid 11's, it takes some nerve to pilot it. I thought my car was a handful.

I can't believe I'm still on the list with N2O. I'm starting to shop for another SHO. My goal is mild bolt-ons with limited slip and 100 shot on a well maintained car. We'll see if it hangs with my DD Impala running mid 13's.

I'm sure there will be someone willing to void their warranty for a couple of larger turbos...

Yah, true. It will just suck when the engine blows...

I've been told ford is being ******** and not doing forged internals and no intercooler..

they have to make it affordable and easy to assemble in a factory.

I welcome the challange so how about this. If you beat my time I will beat that time by .2 within 2 months or I will send you a crisp 20 dollar bill in a big unnecessary box :angelnot:
