What does everyone think of getting undercoating done at Ziebart. I own a 95 that was titled in FL all its life, and it seems to be clean and rust free, i just had major money put into it and have more planned, and i want to keep it rust free for a long time....the best way to deal with rust is to prevent it, like anythhing else. Does anyone know how much this costs, done it, have any opinions about it? I hear they offer a lifetime warranty, and i would think if theres any slight surface rust they would clean, sandblast it off...Someone told me they use walnut shells or something...strange....

Don't know too much about it, but the 95 I just bought has had it done since new. It cost the orig owner liek $250.00 at first and $30.00 per year. If you want I can look up the paperwork.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I am looking at the paper work that the origional owner gave me with the car. Total cost including tax in 1995 was $283.00. $42.00 including tax maintance per year therafter. The most recent invoice I have is 01/30/2002 for the same $42.00 amount. I don't know where you live but here is their contact info. Maybe you can call them and ask if there is anyone in your area.

I don't like ziebart. They tried to screw me. I went all around toen trying to find slim 9" neon tubes and they are the only ones that had them. They only had 1 in stock and had to order 1. They told me like $35 thumbs_u for a set (2 neon tubes and transformer). So i was like sweet shit. 2 days later i get a call. We quoted you the wrong price and we will need $30 bs boink to cover cost. I said ok and went in the next day called em every word in the book and told em to give me my money. Said F*** U and walked out the door (reason why you never give these places yur real address)
