I have a zex 82011 kit on my SHO and I love it! I have only run a 55 shot, and can imagine what a bigger shot feels like.

Anyway, after giving a few people a ride w/ the N20 at the Convention, it just plain quit working. I though something was up at the track event, because I didn't feel it when I hit it.

The weird part is it IS shooting N20. I disconnected it from the intake, hit WOT real quick on the TB, and it shot my hand back from the force of the gas comming out.

All vaccuum lines are hooked up and clamped in place, system is purged before every use, and I have 7lbs in the bottle.

Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

Hmmm.. wonder if something is up with it adding the additional fuel. Try checking the fuel pressure while it sprays. If it's not adding extra fuel and just spraying the N2O it's not going to do anything for you. That'd be my guess since it IS spraying the nitrous.

YOU actuated the throttle plate to WOT position, not you triggered using the accelerator pedal? Check to see if you're getting full opening with the pedal, if not, you're not actually triggering the shot. Also, like Erik said, check fuel - this is critical. Without the additional fuel, you're running too lean & may eventually burn / melt a piston.

Make sure the NMU is triggering the vacuum line to the FPR.

Cool, thanks for the ideas. I thought about the fuel pressure not spiking at WOT, but thought I should hear/feel something from the motor because of the extreme lean condition?

Figured it out...the NMU was not spiking the pressure to the fuel rail at WOT for some reason. Got it replaced and its good to go! BTW the remote opener is sweet!

Ding ding ding. We got a winner. Glad to hear that you fixed it. I was thinking about getting a bottle opener but since I only use it at the track I can't see the sense in paying $300 for it. Glad you enjoy it though!

Edit: Stick the 75hp jets in there... it's FUN! :D

Yea I don't street race either (my friend just got a 1K ticket for it, and I can't afford that) But it is nice to have just incase. You never know when you will line up w/ an M3!
Plus it was on sale at summit.

Investing in even a cheap A/F gauge might be a good thing for nitrous use. Doesn't take long to torch the motor with nitrous if the fuel pressure isn't right, and having a visual indicator would make it very obvious if you were that lean. Just a thought (but yeah, more money :( ).

Good idea Lance...but my A-pillar pod is full! I think I might swap out the Volts for an A/F. Would be more usefull than the the volts, thats for sure! :)
