I have been a long time reader of the forum, but this is my first post so let me thank you in advance for any help or advice you can provide. My 91 has develped a clunk in the right front corner. Now, I did search and look at other posts about this, but mine seems different. Everything is new up front and tight, including springs, struts, tie rods, endlinks, etc.. it sounds like the center support bearing for the passenger side axle or the wheel bearing itself is making the noise. It is a rather low pitched clunk and tends to be more noticable at slower speeds. Has anyone had a problem like this with either of these before? Thanks again!

Strange - my car has the same symptoms of yours. Seemingly it only occurs at low speeds. I have new tie rod ends, new struts and springs and spring perches, and a new control arm up there. The strut rod bushings aren't great but they aren't THAT bad.

Sorry I can't be of more assistance - but you're not alone.

You may want to check with Ford on that one, There is a TSB on the right front control arm breaking a weld and causing a clunking noise. If you have no luck let me know I will get the numbers for you
