Tranny in question: 1997 AX4N with 1999 valve body and 2800 rpm stall speed torque converter mated to a 95' Vulcan.
I seem to be having a summer problem that I can not remedy. The car shifts slower when it warms up. So far I have the two stock coolers in line with an additional 24K Hayden cooler, but the problrm still exists. It never misses a shift and it never slips. It just takes longer than I want it to and I know this tranny is capable of shifting quick and firm as it has done that for the past two years with the exception of summers. Any thoughts? I was thinking VSS because my cruise dies and comes back, but the car is not pulling any codes for it???
