i got bored today and decided to go through my sho computers that are laying around in my garage and low and behold ,there was a x2j computer so i put it in my 91 that originally had a los computer and now i got a check engine light .the codes are 551 and a stored code of 212 . is this normal or should i just throw the los in? i dont mind the check engine light but i wanna make sure its not hurting anything.

All V6 MTX EEC's are interchangable.
IIRC, (as I don't have my book with me) the 551 is the code for an LPM.
and the 212 is the one we all know..

Aside from the 212, there are no problems running the X2J in your car. (im running one as well in the 91)
