WTF Head gaskets do I have?

Hi,

I have 3 sets of head gaskets, supposedly 2 3.2 sets, and 1 3.0 set, but I cant tell the difference! They all line up their holes exactly, i am sure there has to be the difference between the two, does anyone know the diff between them? They are all ford OEM ones.

Nook, look at the bore diameter of the piston area / fire ring. That's pretty much it. One of them also has a small half-circular notch on one side, at the edge of the gasket in the graphite area.

Remember, the only difference between the blocks (for your purposes) is the piston dia.

Didnt even need the caliper, you can tell looking at the rings the 3.2 ones are a bit bigger, plus they have that notch out of the edge. I have two sets of 3.2s and one set of 3.0s!

Thanks! you rock! I didnt notice the ring size as I was rushing around trying to gather up all my parts, but before i even got the calipers in ther today, I was like, ya, it's clear to see the larger ones on the 3.2s!
