We have a 1992 SHO in our shop and are looking for a driver's side fender ground effect and tan deflector vents, a.k.a. registers. Please let me know if you have either of these parts. Thank you.

Any 92-95 Taurus from a wrecking yard will volunteer its register. Another member just paid me $20 to ship him one. Usually when you want something, the yard is cursed with blue (or even red) interiors though.

The whole unit snaps into the dash. If you don't mind messing up the donor's dash, you can pry it out at the top and bottom with a screwdriver.

Thank you. Please feel free to keep an eye out the next time you are at the yard. I am not in a position to leave the shop and go to parts yards but we would be happy to send PayPal for the part. :)

I bought one with a trip back to a wrecking yard just for this (as Devin or zoomlater can confirm from conversation the day before), cleaned and reassembled from the best parts of instead two non-SHO registers, and let BlackWolf know I got one.

I got back a picture of a gray interior "that doesn't seem to match, sincere apologies", but apparently no interest in now paying me ahead of time to obtain an opal gray one. Done with favors for noobs or those trying to sell grandpa's car.

I mistakenly trusted interior color information that another SHO enthusiast had given me after looking at pictures of our vehicle. The interior in our car is definitely not gray though. Again, I sincerely apologize for the wasted trip.

Just discovered when looking up this brochure for you (to show the limited trim interior options) that 1992 didn't even offer mocha on a SHO. Interior is either black or opal grey on a 1992. You sent a picture of opal gray.

Yours is on the top, the mocha option on the bottom - quite different:
