Looking for the black trim that goes above both front and rear doors. Looking to get my car repainted and need some good spares in the event mine break during removal. Need all 4 doors.

Ford Part #s F4DZ5420847A, F4DZ5420846A - Front Doors

You can practice removing a regular Taurus' door glass top run in a wrecking yard (and keep it). They just pull out and push on after lowering the window (pulling or completely dropping the window in the back) and removing all the lower weatherstrip. The rears have some nuts also. The cautions about fragility, and needing two people to install, one holding the other half so it doesn't bend, are for those who can't use masking tape.

Mine are 93's original silver that has been blacked out with vinyl, which looks a lot better than the stock black coating on 94-95.

The only new one to be found is passenger-front in silver still available at fordpartsgiant - $147, so unlikely you'd want new if they were available.
