.....on a G1/2 (or G3) SHO? I assume at minimum slight modifications would be needed.

Might be a little tight for a Gen1. The rear wheel arch partially covers the wheel on a Gen 1 but they should be fine on a 2 or 3.

I'm running 17x7.5/42mm and I had to do a little trimming in the rear fender inner lip on my 91'.

I've got 17x8's on my 91.....had to make the L shaped inner fender lip a J shape, but it worked.....the offset was changed on them at some point though.

I still don't understand why. They are heavy, not wide enough and honestly don't look much better than any other aftermarket wheel out there.

This exactly......I'd rather rock my set of 16" chromies than a set of 95 cobra R replicas.

But alas, I have cobra brakes hiding behind OZ's currently.....:naughty:
