Well, my car ran fine w/ oil up to the top of the plug wells for more than 6 months.

I got the money for plug well seals, so in January I put in new pws, new valve cover seals, sucked all the oil and crap out of the wells, and put new plugs in.

And it ran like CRAP. Like I was running off of half an engine. It would **** and lug, like it was missing horribly.
Running the codes came back with nothing, same with the cylinder balance test.

Here are a few pictures of the plug wires-

After I finally got some more SHO $$$, I replaced the wires, and after a brief issue with plugging them in wrong, madflame
The car runs like a true SHO again.

Moral of the story, if you have oil in the plug wells it WILL end up ruining the wires.
If your wires are bad and the car isn't running right, DON'T go replacing all kinds of other stuff.

Fix the KNOWN BROKEN stuff FIRST, then chase any remaining problems.
