my recently purchased 95 with 60,*** doesn't like to start when the engine is warm. lots of new parts, cps, o2s, h20 pump, timimg belt, serp belt, intake and valve cover gaskets. it always starts when cold however when engine is warm you never know. it has yet to leave me stranded because after many cranks and some pedal pumping it eventually starts. any ideas?

Did you change the CID? When you turn the key to "On" (not start), do you hear the fuel pump buzz for a second or as it pressurizes the system? Does the tachometer move when cranking?

Try holding the pedal to the floor, no pumping, as you crank. ---Tells the computer it is flooded . Occasionally, mine needs this on a hot start, has done this since new.

Do you smell any sweet smell under the hood or see any small spots of coolant under the car? If you happen to get a bad water pump or bad installation, it can drip slowly which runs down on the CPS.

While the engine is hot and not able to start, turn the key to ON and listen for the high-pitched whine of the fuel pump from the tank. It should run for about 1.5 seconds and then shut off. Your problem sounds like a heat-affected, tired old fuel pump. This is a simple check and can easily identify either the fuel pump or the CCRM.

did not change cid. i do hear the fuel pump buzz. tach does move when starting, but it does not move after not starting when warm. also cel comes on when it finally starts then goes off in a short time. what are the cid and the ccrm? this is my 3rd sho but i've never had problems with the 1st two. i will try holding the pedal to the floor the next time it won't start. today it ran fine!

That sounds like a bad CPS.

Also read your codes.
