Im installing a speeduino (basically a megasquirt) ecu on my 90 sho. Does anyone have a pinout for the eec-iv connector. I was also thinking of running the speeduino as a piggyback sysyem with it controlling fuel and spark with the factory ecu controlling everything else.

If you are going to go whole hog on this thing get the used Helm's shop manuals from ebay. General thick manual covers taurus stuff, SHO specific engine transmission and EVTM electric/vacuum trouble shooting manuals. These are so helpful if you are going to really dig in.
EVTM looks like this
General taurus (which shares alot of stuff) manual looks like this
SHO specific yamaha engine and SHO transmission supplement red is 89 but same for 90
I would get this 89 set for cheap and not get the blue 90 one--- best $20ish you'll ever spend

I found a pdf of the engine manual http://www.alfitz.com/SHO_Engine_Book.pdf this will work for the piggyback system but it didnt have the pinout

I remember seeing one a long long time ago but I don't see it using search. IIRC it should be in the evtm book. I gave mine away some yrs ago or I'd go look.

My service manuals only go back to 1992. Do you suppose that might be close enough to your '90 to be of any use?

Yes. Your computer is interchangeable for MTX cars 89-95
