ok so my wipers decided to die, the first day it snowed.

what happened: i wiped all the snow off my window by hand then turned the wipers on for a bit and turned them off, there was to much snow in the way for them to park properly so they just went as low as they could, then they would never turn back on again!!! argghhhh

what i've done to fix: i cleaned the multifunction switch although i doubt that was/is a problem cause everything else on it works mint, but its clean now anyway. and ive tried a new motor, so that last thing i think it could be is my haynes book says theres a control unit somewhere, the question is where???

on a side note: this is a 94 and i checked the wires for voltage and they all have, 2 of the wires i think were 'grounds' but i cant remember the colors (black and red i think), could the 'new' motor i got just be bad aswell?

My money is on the multi function switch. They can have all sorts of problems, mainly the windshield wipers b/c the same thing happened to me. Changed it out and voila!

anybody got a picture of the thing?

i found the chime module and unplugged it, above it i have 2 relays and a gray box.

when i change the MFS from no wipers to the first wiper setting i hear a relay flip, and then i hear a relay flip when i engage hi, i dont hear anything during any other part of the wiper switch movement.

soooo, im presuming its the grey box?
