ok today i went to turn on my windshield wipers and the **** at the end that u turn just came off i tried for atleast an hour to get it back on since my wipers were stuck off and it was snowing but no luck whats the easyest way to replace it i own a 1993 mtx

remove the 2 shrouds above and below the steering column and yank the "multi disfunction switch" out and grab anothe rone from a junkyard and swap it in. its an easy fix. i keep a spare one in my car jusrt incase.

probable that the switch is seak and is making the circut on its own. aka needs a replacment multifunctionswitch

That would be awesome if they just turned on randomly. I'd sport a beater car where that happened....
