Hello and Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas to you all. I have a problem with my SHO that has been there since I bought it, and I haven't fixed it yet. The windsheild squirters don't work, but there is an easily audible noise when the button is pressed for them, but no fluid comes out. The resevoir is full of cleaning fluid, but something isn't right, and I was hoping for a little help if anyone out there has had a similar problem. Thanks for the help.

My buddy was having a similar problem with two cars, and both had different solutions- on one of them, there was a plug-up in the hose before the split to both windows, and on the other, the hose was detached from the pump... I haven't looked at my SHO, but if the pump is in the resevoir, and the hose is detached, it'll probably run and run, but not **** any fluid on the ground, either. Someone may correct me on this though...

Just a thought...

Quick fix:
Your car is thirteen years old - that's thirteen years of road gunk which can get anywhere. Take off the windshild wipers - the whole assembly - all you have to do is pull on the silver nub sticking out on the glass side of the arm (when the wiper is all the way down) From there, pull up real ******* the arm (don't scratch the hood or the glass). Now, there's like ten screws that hold down the black shroud that shields the bottom of the windshield. Remember that there is one screw on each side of the shroud that is only accessible by opening the front doors. And a short, stubby screwdriver works best to get most of the other screws out. Then, the squirters you're talking about are held down by one bolt a piece (I think it's a 5/16, but not sure). Pull off the plastic squirter from the hose. Then just use a strong air compressor to blow air through both openings of the squirter. Reconnect and test before you button it back up.

I know I said quick, but, well, nothing on these cars are quick. Best of luck.
Matt
