I've been working on getting an aftermarket radio working, and as I was finally re-assembling the car, I was unable to roll up or down the windows.
According to the manual, there is a circuit breaker which covers the windows, seats, and locks.
Seats and locks work.
There is a fusable link that also feeds the same systems. Note, my '91 does not have a fusebox under the hood, only fusable links.
Since everything works but the windows, I'm perplexed. Anyone have ideas?
The don't work using the drivers control or any other window even with the lock off.

I would suspect the drivers door switch. The Ford shop manual ( I think) will show you how to test it.

Do any of the windows and switches work (such as the switch at the door versus the master window switch)? If they work from the master switch but not the individual doors, you may have inadvertently pressed the Window Lock switch.

Were you working on any of the doors while trying to get the aftermarket radio working?

None of the switches work, lock or not.
I was only working the head and amp - I had replaced the door speakers years ago, and was replacing the mouse - eaten subs.
The shop manual I have didn't have good troubleshooting data - I took the master switch out of the door and will check voltages tonight.

Quick update. Battery was low, so I charged it overnight. Got home from work at 7 PM, the car started right up, but the windows won't move. Hoping to start testing voltages tomorrow evening if I don't have another 12 hour day.

Check the fuses. You probably popped one while messing with the radio. All power to the other doors runs through the drivers door.

First thing I checked, and according to the manual the power seats and locks are on the same fusible link and circuit breaker. Pulling the breaker interrupted the seats and locks.

I hope I have a decent evening so I can run a voltage check on the switch

I will second looking at the window switch I think that routes power to all the doors. Although if the fuse is good and you were working with wiring behind the dash and then the issue presented.. good luck. Tracing elec issues is a pain

Switxh bench tests fine. It looks like a ground-interrupt system inside. I cleaned and greased the contacts anyway, no change. Now I have to figure what wire feeds all the motors - without the benefit of a full wiring diagram. Oh, what fun...

So... if ETAC works, Radio works (though there is an extra ground wire I'm not using?), power antenna work while in run mode but not the windows, it isn't the ignition switch.

No mouse damage I can find. They did work before I powered up the amps and changed the radio to run the amps now that I have new subs in.

DO you have a wiring diagram? I gave away my evtm book some time ago. Maybe there is a common run or ground for the locks and roof?

So, according to this wiring diagram for the 1991 SHO, there is definitely a relationship between the moonroof and power windows (zone A52). I'll have to do some more digging to see if I can find the other end of "~Moonroof SW".

That basically suggests that either circuit breaker #14 (CB #14) is not providing power to the power window safety relay, fuse #6 is not providing power to CB #14, the power window safety relay is bad, or there is a wiring issue somewhere causing power to not make it to the safety relay, through the Light Blue with Black tracer wire from the relay, or the relay coil ground is not good.

I give. Where are these mythical relays? The ones I can find don't have the right color wires, or test out for other stuff. I can only find one loose connection near where I was working. Picture shows a red colored plug with what looks like the correct wire color for the safety relay. But I cannot find where it plugs into.
