Upper window trim, black on 94-95: how does one remove these d@#n things?! I need to replace one (Note: go to the yard for these! I’ll not insult or anger anyone by repeating the quoted Ford price for this unassuming bit of plastic and metal), and perhaps remove all to paint the B pillars/rear edge of rear doors/mirrors with the Dave Ladely-recommended Imron black primer.

The question has been asked before, but didn’t receive an answer here. Helm also doesn’t appear to help. Any body shop employees or folks who’ve done this out there? Thanks.

Both my rear pieces are broken. Snagged on front door somehow. Ford want's $150.00 to replace the two. I can't figure out how to get them of either!

They are riveted on! You'll need to take the mirrior off and then remove the weatherstrip for the window. They should be rivets in there (or maybe screws) if there are rivets you have to punch the center pin out and then drill the head of the rivet off. You'll need a Rivet Gun and rivets to put the piece back on! I'm not sure but you may have to remove the door windows (which are also held in with rivets) to remove the lower part of the moldings. Trust me it sounds alot harder than it really is.
