The rubber around my windows on my 97 are dry rotted. (Unfortunately)

Does anyone know where I can get replacements? Is Ford parts my best bet? (These are the same part as the current model)

Thanks ...

I just replaced mine. I threw away the packaging so I don’t know the part number. They were only like $75 from my dealership.

I have some nice 97 doors I'm taking apart tomorrow, which windows strips do you need? I can look at the ones I have and see if they are worth pulling off for you. I have no use for them.

Wow ... I hadn't realized that I double posted this. Mia culpa.

I now know that they are called the "beltline weatherstrip" and they are located at the base of the glass on the outside of the door. (Metal/Rubber thing). I just called my dealer. He wants $200 for the set. OUCH.

The prices I quoted in the other thread (total $110) were from FordPartsNetwork.com. The owner, Torrie, responds to parts request emails personally, and he can tell you what the grand total would be with all 4 strips and the required clips. The catalog lists the clips at $4.50 or something, but I don't know if that's EACH or for a package or what.
