I found some rims I like, but they're 18" instead of the 17" that most go up to. So I'm concerned they will fit ok. I've done searching and I think they will work. The wheels are 18x8, 5x108 bolt pattern, .35 offset. I was thinking of tires either 245/40/18, 245/45/18 or what size is best? Will I have to roll the rear fender lips? What do you think, or should I just keep looking and get 17" wheels?

They SHOULD fit a Gen II, but may require some fender trimming in the rear. I would probably use a 235/40 tire to help keep the fender and tire from meeting too much.

I have wheels that are also 8" wide with 35mm offset. I have 235 width tires. I had to cut and roll the rear fenders for the tires. GEN2 should have more room. Discount tire by where I live was kind enough to mount different size tires so I can figure out what looked and fit the best.

I had 18's on my gen II with 245/40??? I think... may have been 45's. And I had no prob in the rear, but they rubbed the strut cover.
