Rim and tire swap from 20" to 18"

I'm looking to swap my 245/45R20's to 18" rims and tires for winter, anyone do this and can lead me to the right size rims and offsets that will fit without issues?

I have 235/55R18 with 8" ET40 rims on my Winter set.
I'm used to my 275/40R20 so I hate how the Winter set looks, tires are too far in so I use spacers. ET30 or ET20 would look better.

Police wheels are 18x8x42. Tire 245-55-18. Direct fit. Same wheel on Taurus and Explorer.

I love the steel police wheel idea for winter. Just let them get beat up and not have to worry about it.

225/60R18 x 7 ET 39

That will give you a narrower tire and maintain speedometer with 0.1% accuracy.
