As the question is, will it work? I found a hard button EATC in a '94 Lincoln Continential. I was wondering if it would be a direct fit in my '92 SHO.

Yea it will work up till 94 will, 95 was differant though, their is just a pin you will have to clip of to line it up with the dash to mount but thats it. I know cause I asked before also, and jelloslug told me the same thing.

Thats good information to know. The boneyard down south told me that the only eatc that would fit my '92 was from '92 - '93. Thanks for the info.. :)

That sounds like the outside temps sensor is unplugged or the coolant temp sensor is unplugged. The outside temp sensor is on the radiator panel near the upper airbag crash sensor and the coolant temp sensor is in the hard pipe that goes to the heater core. Don't confuse it with the temp sensor that's near the thermostat for the gage or the temp sensor that's on the rear head that's for the ECU. I would also check for bent or corroded pins on the EATC unit and connectors.

I dont think its the sensor. The outside temp thing worked on the unit that was originally in it. But when I the the remove/replace for the one I got at the boneyard, it didnt work.
