Well, here's my take on this subject. The QUICKEST run I ever made with my 95 MTX (15.20 @ 93 mph) was done with a VERY bad front motor mount. In fact, the mount was a stock replacement, and was less than 24 hours old. It broke on
this very run, and I just happen to have a picture of it

Though this was technically my quickest run, it had nothing to do with the motor mount. I later ran 15.23 with a reinforced mount...I would highly recommend replacing motor mounts when they go bad. Otherwise you'll be putting more stress on your drive line, exhaust etc. because there are many many things under hood that AREN'T supposed to be moving that much...eventually something will let go!
