Whats up everybody? Been a long time since I've been around here. I'm finally coming back from my tour in Italy(military). I'm coming back stateside temporarily for like 4 months in november. My friend has a 91+ Black on black with a Cowl hood and decent mods in heated storage that she is going to sell me when I get back. Currently My 93' is in florida getting the 3.2L swap and multiple mods. I want the 91+ to be my cruiser with bad *** new looks so I'm upsizing the wheel tire combo. Got a hook on these wheels for a good price and after living in italy I am really starting to like the big wheels. I want to get these wheels and powdercoat them gunmetal and drop some 235-35-19's on em. With at least a 2" front drop and probably a 1.5" rear drop these will look nasty with black tinted windows smoked taillights and a police grill. Anyways here is a pic of the wheels. Let me know what you think and will they fit?

BTW, Since I've been here I've owned 2 fiat Coupe's (1 of them had 320hp with a turbo), 1 BMW 320is(italian M3, 215hp), 2 16v Mercedes 190e's(1 of them was my show car, 230hp) 1 Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 AWD turbo(270hp), and a saab 9000(daily driver)

I'd have to say that they won't fit because of the fenders, or lack of room in them. Though I'm not a huge fan of over-sized rims those would look sharp in a more stock size.

Sounds like you've been having fun over there. I wish you could bring the Fiat back.

Bizzy get out of here with you conservativism. :evil_gri:

I think you could get them to fit. You may have to tweak the rear fenderwells a little though. IMO the machined finish would look better than a gunmetal finish on those rims.

BTW, who's doing your 3.2 swap down here?

I am almost certain that the 19x8's on it with out that much trouble. If people can fit 17" wheels with 245-45-17's on them then a 2" upsize to a 235-35-19 should be no different given almost same overall diam. :bonk:
maybe a 225-35-19 would be better but we shall see. I've modded alot of different cars in the past 5 years.

The car is being built at a engine shop near Jacksonville, Fl. I don't remember the name of the shop but I can find out. I will throw some pix of the 91+ with the cowl hood when I get a chance. I might leave the wheels machine depending on available powdercoating or even paint shops in the chicago area that can do my wheels.

FWIW, I had 18x8" wheels on my '89 SHO. I believe the offset was around 40mm. The tires were 235/40/ZR18's.

They JUST barely cleared the strut tube by less than 1/8th of an inch in the rear and I had to roll the lip on the driver's side.

With the car lowered as much as you plan, you will have to do some serious trimming on the rear lips to give the wheels some breathing room.

I think they would look good, but you'll be pushing it with the 19's.

If you look at the rear wheel in this pic, you can see how close they were. Sorry, I do not have any close-up pics of the wheel wells.
