We live well within our means. We could easily afford to buy the sho, even new if we wanted, and easily afford the added cost of the fuel mileage, but at the end of the day we would both feel like it was a huge waste of money.

We ended up purchasing a 2015 fusion titanium ecoboost brand new. We didnt really want a new car, but after looking for weeks at 20+ used cars, i could not find one that wasnt wrecked. All had a clean carfax, but all of them had obvious repair work. I got a great deal on the new fusion so we took it home. Thanks for the input.

Congrats on the new car. That was a model that we also drove when we were shopping. I was reasonably impressed with the 2.0 Ecoboost as well. But when we got into the numbers and saw how things were working out, we decided to go SHO instead.
