Wierd noise

There is a noise coming from my car and im not sure what it is. I think it has something to do with either the exhaust or the clutch. I can hear the noise in between shifting, coasting below 30mph, revving the engine, and sometimes when it is idling. It sounds like a metal rattling noise. I can almost bet that is exhaust rattle. I have a sometimes bad exhaust rattle just gunna get it welded so it dont' move lol. If it isn't exhuast only thing i can think of that might be able to make that noise would be if a tip of one of the fingers broke off and is rolling around in the pp case. How is the clutch hard to get into gear or slipping? I would almost bet it is exhaust tho.

The clutch seems to feel the same. I havn't really noticed a difference in the shifting. The noise has gotten louder since i noticed it. I wasn't totally sure what it was, but then my guitar teacher said it might be the exhaust moving around or something. So if thats the problem thats thats really good because i though we were going to have to do something big. I will look more at the exhaust and i'll have my brother take a look at the car when he gets home.(He knows way more about cars then i do.)

Mine has a heat shield around the exhaust and it it cracked and makes a rattling noise. I have welded it before but is cracked again.
