I recently started hearing a noise that sounds like a wobbling noise but goes away when i press on the brakes. could it be that the bearing is going bad the brakes still have about 70% left on the pads and the rotor is not grooved any help would be appriciated

When was the last time that you stomped on the brakes?

Sounds like the Rotor is warped or the caliper is hanging up.

If the rotor were warped, it would be noticable as a vibration or pedal pulsation when the pbrakes are applied.

I would check for a loose or worn wheel bearing first.

Very true steve, but he didn't say that he felt it in the pedal or not. I figured he just failed to mention that.

I would check the rotor first, seeing as that it is alot easier and cheaper IMO to do. And then if that doesn't work, check the wheels bearing.
