Just out of curiosity, whose tune are you running?

I am running one of Torrie's from Unleashed Tuning on my 2010 EB Flex, it is a +60whp tune with some tranny adjustments and a little added boost. And oh what a sleeper this brick is now...

But...I am thinking of getting a tune from Livernois as well...

I am running the tune from Rick and Dan at LMS, and wow it's like a totally different car. I would recommend them all the way.

I think Kirk's is a mild program (if 13.43 @ 104.15 is mild), but I do like how he holds the gears with low RPM driving in auto.

I to am contemplating going to Livernois tune as well. Can the tune be added to my current X3 or will I have to buy another complete unit from Rick? What about just purchasing the tune if it can be added?

Tune voids warranty; corrrect? I keep getting mixed signals and unsure answers around the forum about this.

You just add the tune through the X3.

I have both Torrie's and Livernios' tunes....I would love to get the car to a strip to see....They both are great and give you the holyshyte feeling....
I hear the blow off valve with Torrie's....This has been the only difference I can tell....

Tunes do not void the warranty unless it is proven the tune caused the warranty issue is my understanding.

I'm running a tune and turning a 13.1 with an otherwise street stock SHO. I was wondering if adding the airaid CAI system would give me the .2 I need to get into the 12's. Has anybody used it and recorded the difference, before and after?

Who's tune? I think you would get the .2-.3 to break into the 12's. It will help your MPH for sure.

I'm running Torrie's tune. It's a 2011 SHO that was turning 14.0 when I bought it in July. Torrie's tune brought it down to 13.1 You think the CAI would bring me into the twelves, though?

Darrel and I were talking about that today and what he has been seeing is a CAI will reduce .2-.3 tenths and increase MPH by about 3-4.

Well, I guess I might give it a try. Up here in New Hampshire the track is closed 'till next April but I can wait.
Thanks for getting back to me though.

Truth be told.... I am using old 78 record player... Have it positioned on a tempur-pedic mattress in cargo bay. Works great until dog bumps it!:sun:

Thinking of re'naming our "Brick" the "Torrie-nado"!:woo-hoo::woo-hoo::woo-hoo::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Has anybody tried Tuning By James? The SCT people at the PRI show said he does good work, but then he apparently used to work there. Not much about the tune itself on his website. 46hp and 73 torques.
