I dont think I will be there as 2 more folks are rolling up the hill on Saturday night to spend some time with us. Man I am getting rid of the in laws tomorrow and have a mere 2 days of recovery before I need to clean the bathrooms again for new guests at Chateau Ivey. Free room and board really keeps you busy.

Tom, the inlaws can't say enough good things about you after your trip to 19th st. Last night we read about the Shoot out at 19th and northern....figured that was not too far from where I broke down. Good thing the fuel pump wasn't the only thing packing heat that night.

Oh and what is CarneAsada Pollo Asada ? Sounds like a border patrol secret agent to me.

Unless Mickey takes me hostage over the next few days I plan to be there. (I'm in meetings at one of the hotels at Disney World right now. Downtown Disney is right across the street. It turns out Fulton's serves good beer.)

I'll clean up the SHO on Saturday so that it's presentable.

I've been thinking, if the BDA swap takes 10 man hours or whatever it is, if we get enough people we should be able to change Mike Selland's BDA and mine in about fifteen minutes. Anybody interested?

I'm trying to figure out how much CarneAsada Pollo Asada to buy.

Tom
Mmmm... Cane Asada Chicken < drool >

Tom, I won't be able to make it. I finally have a date when I will be down... March 30th and hopefully stay for 3 weeks.

It's hard when you have to work around everyone elses schedule as well as your own to take leave.

Wish I could be there frown

What the heck is a BDA?

Carne Asada is thinly sliced and marinated beef, barbequed and wrapped in tortillas and maybe some barbequed onions and red peppers sprinked in there for that special afterglow.

Pollo Asada ( Poy yo) Is marinated and barbequed chicken. (tastes like rattlesnake)

Just kidding on the rattle snake.

Disclaimer Chickens and cows will be hurt in the making of this barbeque.

If you want to put your car up on the lift, plan on arriving a little early, say 1:00 or 2:00 pm. Otherwise, I will start burning....er.....I mean Bar-b-que-ing at about 4. I have MGD, Miller Lite and Corona, if you want some other beer, bring it.

Please, no hard liquor.

We will take pics.

That is all.

Bring some of those corn tortilla chips for dipping in the salsa, if you would. Two big bags ought to do it.

E-mail me and I'll reply with directions.

Blend door actuator. This is the first part on the assembly line and the car is built around it. So when it fails, you have to nearly disassemble the whole friggin car to fix it. Mine's failed and Mike's MTX (I think) is failed. madflame

Sorry to hear that Jason won't be able to make it. Maybe we should ask Rumsfeld to give him some time off.

If that is what causes the AC to not blow so cold, then my 95 just went out also.

Rumsfields??? Are you kidding, we wouldn't be able to understand anything he says. I swear, that guy must have been punished as a kid if he spoke in short sentences.

When the BDA fails it typically goes to full hot, and you can hear the EATC computer make the door thump once a second as it tries to get it to function properly. There is a self-test that you can run on the EATC (I can't remember off the top of my head, but it's something like hold OFF and AUTOMATIC simultaneously for several seconds, a search should pop that up, or I think it's on SHOtimes). The self-test will tell you for sure whether its the BDA or not.

Mine's intermittent, but spends most of its time in the failed mode.

Tom, Eric, everbody,

Sorry I can't make it, I REALLY wish I could make it. I will be taking leave on the 30th and possibly staying for 3 weeks to finish up the car. Because my weekend comes prior to the 30th, I may be back a few days earlier. I'll let you know when I am in town and I expect everyone will meet at the pavillions when I finish the car. I am itching to SHOw it off!!!

Have fun guys and take pics!!

Hey all, guess what came in the mail today....No Jason it wasnt the Y pipe, but it was a set of Nooks SFC's....man these bad boys are da bomb.

Tom: someday this spring (read: when it isnt hotter 'than blazes) I would like to book some time in Dooleyville to weld these puppies on. You see, I need to stay a hair ahead of Jason's superSHO.....this might just give me the adv. I need to out run him in the twisties.

Michael,

That's going to be tough to keep up with Jason. He's got and getting mods galore.

And the garage and lift it open today and Sunday. Closed on Mondays between 2 and 3 A.M.

Good Luck with that!

:p

On another note, I just installed the 22/26 sway bar combo on my car. I highly recommend it for a nice, neutral feeling SHO. I will be getting SFCs shortly, which should dramatically increase the rear bar's response and affect the way the car turns. As is, I have a hard time losing traction on the inside wheel even on tight turns, whereas with the 24mm bar I was able to (accidentally) get it spinning a couple times.
