Who would win?

My cousin just bought a Chrysler 300S AWD (2013). It's completely stock with a 5.7 L Hemi. My car is a 2104 SHO with CAI from M design and 3 bar, pregapped plugs and 91 octane tune from Livernois. He says his car can kick my ass because it's a "Hemi". What do you guys think?

Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't it be close even if his Taurus was stock? With the tune I see no issue putting money on the SHO.

I think the 0-60 time you posted for the 300S might be the 3.6L engine though. Maybe?

Man! I give up today on my posts! Maybe lack of sleep! My apologies once again! Nice catch - this is for the V6.
HOWEVER, I just looked at the 5.7-liter Hemi and the specs is 370 HP, 395 lb-ft torque resulting 0-60 in 5.8. You still win even in stock mode!!!

For a little extra info... I have a 93 octane tune and ran 0-80 with a 2014 Charger (R/T) and I had a full 2 lengths on that little girl

you win, because your SHO will still be going strong when his 300 is dead on the side of the road with (a) a broken transmission, (b) a dead computer, (c) some kid in China hacked his U-connect, or (d) more than one of the above.

I beat a guy at work and I work for Chrysler he had a 2014 Charger RT and I have a 2015 Sho with the PP im 240 and I was giving my buddy a ride home and he is also about 240 anyway a guy that works in our department pulls up next to us at the light and wanted to race so as soon as the light changed I got him off the line and had three car lengths on him up to 70 then I slowed down we have a lot of cops that hang out by our plant got to the next light and had the same thing again by the third light I decided not to waste the gas lol

With our all wheel drive systems it seems reaction time is huge I raced one of our engineers down at Milan he had a hellcat challenger I kept up for about a minute lol

I've run with my buddies Hellcat to 60 twice now...both times we were door to door up to then.

It's funny that he was stumped by it and couldn't believe the SHO had that much....but, he then finds my video on YouTube and comments he didn't know we were racing...lol

So we have a grudge, lol, race to 60-70 mph coming shortly...still haven't launched it vs him too...shhh, he doesn't know...lol

Thats funny he is going to be in for a big surprise our engineer wanted to know what modifications I did to the car he was floored when I told him it was stock he said he kept looking over and I was still there up to about 60 then he just walked away but these cars are the ultimate sleepers good luck in the race I hope you smoke him at least up to 80 or 90 lol

I'd love to get him on the track...from seeing other Hellcat Charger slips, I should be neck & neck at the 1/8...with a solid tree I could contend to the 1000' I think.

Just saw a MW review of the Lexus RC-F. Looks like the SHO with just a tune could easily hang with/beat the RC-F!

Hey Rich what mods have you done to your car too this point I'm going to try and mod soon I was looking at LMS they have a package that includes the tune the winstrom air intake and the thermostat was also going to get a three bar map to be followed by downpipes later not sure if this is a good way to start but any advice would be much appreciated thanks

That's a great way to start. If you're thinking of doing an aftermarket exhaust in the future I'd recommend getting catted downpipes.

We have LME 4x+ 3bar tune
Catless DP'S
Windstorm CAI modded slightly
160* Tstat
Megan Racing coilovers
Adjustable end links
EBC slotted with red stuff pads

Best run was 12.42 with just the 3bar and CAI

Wow that is nice did the breaks and the coilovers make a big difference in the handling , I want to try and duplicate what you did if possible my wife is complaining that I need to get my Z06 done first so im going to have to do a few things under the radar I want to try and get to a meet so I can check out what other SHO owners have done ,heres my other project

I just noticed your in MI im in Bellville what area are you in and us there any local SHO clubs I have been wanting to get down to Milan when Livernois is down there yo check out some of the cars they have done
