Who made the camshafts?

Who made the camshafts for our V8's? It is my understanding that Yamaha designed and built the induction and valvetrain for the V8's. Is it possible that Ford is reluctant to assume responsibility for the V8 camshaft problems because they are wanting Yamaha 'buy in'?
Rarely do we see any mention of Yamaha in this cluster...

Yamaha did NOT make the camshafts as far as we know. Some European company named Thyson-Krupps (not sure about the first name in that) seems to have done the relatively small run on these as often happens when it would cost Ford to much to re-tool for these numbers.
