Yeah, there is a set on the local craigslist for $100 and I have good tread that I could just swap onto them. I took the damn decals off tonight just to find out that there were holes. Haha, do you know of where I can get the Yamaha ovals?

Here is the link http://www.wclewis.com/html/89-95_sho_badges.html . You didn't have to take off the entire emblem, I only had to take out the blue oval that sits inside and then I put the new emblem in it's place. Good luck with your car, I hope it turns out the way that you want it :thumb:.

Thanks man, I just wish I had more money to make it look like I want it. Haha. I am going to lower it next weekend hopefully, my buddy said he could torch teh springs but I am kinda skeptical about that. I missed out on the white rims though, they are gone.

DO NOT TORCH YOUR SPRINGS, that would be the worst thing to do. Trust me we did it oon one of our friends integra, just as an experiment, and it came out awful. Just save up some money for Intrax or Eibachs. Sucks that you missed out on those slicers but why don't you paint yours? You could do two at a time or one at a time and put on the spare while you are painting one at a time. If you are looking for cheap wheels just keep an eye out on eBay, I will be posting mines soon :dribble: . But yeah don't torch your springs and don't half ass things becuase if you do you will really hate your SHO. If you are going to do something then do it right the first time because it will be worth it and you won't have to do it all over again.

Thanks for the advice, I won't do it. How much do those springs run? I am probably going to paint my rims. I like the idea of matching them up with the badges.

What kinda wheels are you going to be selling and how much?

Intrax and eibach springs brand new will go for well over $200 shipped, well at least that is what they were going for when I was looking for springs. But post a thread in the Wanted to Buy section for some lowering springs and I am sure that you will get someone who has a set of used ones that they are willing to sell. I can't really discuss selling things without moderator's permission, don't want to get banned. Trust me just take you time with your SHO and it will al be worth it in the end. But yeah it is amazing how much difference a set of springs can do for these cars and many people prefer the stock slicers just because they look better than most aftermarket wheels and they are pretty light as compared to bigger rims that are affordable.

I'm a little late to the thread, but here:

SHOsideFull
SHOtopAngle

Since then I've painted them flat black. It looks way more menacing that way. Personally I don't think it looks that great. The only thing tying into the wheels were my "Powered by Yamaha +N2O" and "BaySHo_Org" stickers. I got them because they were $100 with tires, and I was upgrading to '96 brakes.

It might just be only me but I think that looks really good and I like that much better than the flat black. Maybe that is because I am not really into evil/ menacing looking cars but yes that is one sweet Gen 1 and IMO a few more white accents would have pulled it all together.

Baffling I'm the one with the same car as u I PM'd you not long ago ;) 93 black on black ATX

Anyways... my car had white slicers with black SHO lettering on wheels and white lettering on car. I took those embaressing hideous things off as soon as I got it home... They are not all black and it looks about... 1,000,000,000,000 times better ;) Just a little tip.. back in the day when they came out it might have looked "ok" in the 90's but not no more definetly not. Hope this helps!
