According to tascaparts.com the correct mirrors for a 95 SHO are
F3DZ17682 A and B

But I also see F5DZ17682 series -A, B, C and D.

Anyone know which is correct

Zak, I stumbled across this website yesterday. It looks like F3DZ17682 A is for the right side and B is for the left side. Just type in Mirror in the search. No clue what the other number is. It doesn't show up under 1995.

It looks like the C and D variant is for SHO and both Taurus and Sable Wagons. From the "K Source Fit System" website (replacement mirrors $36)
  • Part #: 61504F (L, GL, LX, SE)
  • Replaces OEM # F3DZ17682B
  • Part #: 61524F (SHO, Wagon)
  • Replaces OEM # F3DZ17682D
The mirrors have no wiring difference. We know that SHO mirrors came black while others were body paint color. It seems wagons also came with body color mirrors.

So what's the difference? As OEM NOS versions of all are on Amazon, it looks like the F3DZ-17682-C and D variants came with the blue-tinted coated glass while the standard mirror is plain glass.
